A great random find just browsing BandCamp - a very stoney, heavily rocking mix of Heavy Psych/Shoegaze with some great beats. I got a contact high from 'The Black Hole' video alone. Singer Julia has a Kim Gordon vibe for you Sonic Youth heads out there. Hellride Music

Mt Mountajn, for all of their distinctiveness, still continue to progress and evolve their sound. This is a sinewy, slightly leaner beast than previous releases. The songs are briefer, slightly more melodic; perhaps the influence of Stephen Bailey’s solo explorations?
The songs are still iterations of tension and gloom. Mt Mountain have honed their music into a uniquely powerful form of minimalist psychedelic brutalism. Theirs is a menacing, looping drone, always threatening to explode. Michael Mueller
The brilliant Sally Dige returns with this sweeping new single that is grand in scope and centered on a radiant chorus. Bandcamp New & Notable May 16, 2022

Sonically, Helicon are brilliant. They produce sounscapes with hints of infuences from My Bloody Valentine, Jesus and Mary Chain, The Verve, BRMC & BJM to name a few whilst carving out their own unique style and sound. They play the type of music I want to lsten to again and again. Buy this album you won't be disappointed. The vinyl edition comes in a groovy shade yellow. Alan's Vinyl @ 33RPM
